Solution This error message indicates that the modem's communication port is already in use. Check to make sure you aren't already connected. If you are not currently connected, check to see if the program RNAAPP is running in the background applications. You can do this by pressing CTL - ALT - DEL all at once (and only once). Find the listing for RNAAPP, highlight it, and click End Task. Try to get connected again. If you still receive this error message, reboot your computer.
